EDUC 576 Children’s Literature and Storytelling (3 credits)
Provides an extensive view of the literature written for children from birth through age eight and focuses on developmentally appropriate ways to interact with children about quality books and stories. Students make connections between the developing child, quality literature, and the curriculum. Emphasis placed on developing skill in the art of storytelling and in facilitating children’s storytelling and retelling abilities.
