EDUC 584 Practicum I: Principal K-6 (1 credit)
Prerequisites: EDUC 580, EDUC 582, and EDUC 583
Integrates theory and practice into a school setting utilizing a 180-hour practicum. The student works with a school administrator in a school setting which includes the K-6 academic level. Progress in this course will be monitored through a daily log, individual conferences with the University professor, and on-site visitations by the University professor. Students also will be required to complete and formally present a school-based project that meets the approval of the school administrator and the University professor. EDUC-584 and EDUC-585 must be completed in different school settings.
