Intern Teaching
For teachers currently employed in schools, the requirement for student teaching is arranged for by the education program in the teacher's own classroom as long as the teacher's assignment is appropriate for the certificate sought. For example, a teacher must be employed in a Pre K-4 classroom to be supervised for Pre K-4 certification. Intern teachers must be screened and present evidence of readiness for intern student teaching as described earlier.
