EDEC 203 Developing Early Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Skills

Prerequisites: EDEC 101 and EDEC 102
Combines theoretical background with practical applications to prepare students for their role in early childhood education. Students have opportunities to observe young children and note their progress toward the achievement of developmental milestones. Instructional activities focus on language development as well as the development of concepts about print and numerical literacy.
