EDUN 204 Reading Assessment and Instruction

Prerequisite: EDUN 203
Offered Spring semester and Summer Session II.
Field experience required.
Emphasizes the application of techniques acquired in previous coursework as well as the mastery of assessment theory in practice. Formal, informal, and portfolio assessment are covered in order to assist pre-service teachers in constructive evaluation. Methods and materials are examined and selected that are congruent with the findings of their assessment. Case studies and current experiences are integrated throughout the course.
