Prerequisites: NURS 102, GSCI 107, Writing I and II, Quantification Core Course
Corequisites: BIOL 206, BIOL 207, NURS 150
This course provides an overview of the nursing process as students explore selected concepts that promote the psychosocial and physiological adaptation of healthy individuals. Emphasis is placed on the development of communication and critical thinking skills within the framework of the nursing process. Laboratory experience focuses on the application of fundamental nursing interventions.
