Program Course Requirements
(For the most up to date information about program curriculum, please see your faculty advisor.)
The Central Core Curricula
The Master of Science Program in Counseling Psychology program offers two Central Core Curricula that are the basis for all concentrations. One Core Curriculum is specific to the unique needs of the Generalist Concentration and the other Core Curriculum applies to all other program concentrations. Both of these Core Curricula enable students to develop the educational and counseling skills that can be applied in a variety of contexts. Because of their generic nature these Core Curricula provide an excellent preparation vehicle for those students wishing to pursue doctoral studies.
Concentration Curricula
Concentration area requirements enable students to develop an expertise in their area of interest. These requirements are in addition to the Central Core Curriculum requirements.
