Graduate with a Business Degree in Three Years
Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration - Three Year
In September 2010, Holy Family University will begin a new program that enables students to complete 120 credit hours in three years. The program is open to eligible students seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Computer Management Information Systems, Finance, International Business, Management/Marketing, or Sports Marketing/Management.
This program is ideally suited for highly motivated freshman and transfer students, as well as returning veterans. Business classes are offered during the day and evening for maximum flexibility.
How Does it Work?
The course of study in the three-year degree program is the same as the four-year degree program. Students in the three-year program carry 18 credit hours a semester and take 12 credit hours over two summers. A special advisor will work with students in the three-year program to help schedule classes, monitor progress, and ensure they take full advantage of their university experience including cooperative education opportunities.
What is the Cost?
Program cost per semester is the same as the four-year degree program. Students completing the degree in three years save one year of time, room and board and one year of tuition, less the cost of summer courses. Transfer students may experience additional savings. For tuition information, visit http://my.holyfamily.edu/finaid/costs.asp.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
Who is Eligible?
To qualify for the three-year degree program students must have a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) from high school, and have minimum Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores of 950 and 450 on Critical Reading and Math sections respectively. Transfer students and non-traditional students must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA.
While in the Program
Students must follow the three-year course sequence. A minimum GPA of 2.5 the first 60 credit hours, and 3.0 the last 60 credit hours of the program is required. A grade of C or better in all business classes is also required. Those who do not maintain the minimum GPA will be placed into the four-year program.
