Wound Prevention and Care: Art, Science, and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice

Three (3) undergraduate credits and 15 continuing education hours (PA State Board of Nursing)

  • Learn how to apply principles of evidence-based care to clinical wound prevention and management.

  • Obtain the specialty skills and broad wound care knowledge required to practice in the health care environment of today and tomorrow.

  • Prepare to become eligible for taking a national wound care certification exam.

  • RN license required or must be eligible to sit for NCLEX-RN.

Classes are held at Holy Family University Newtown, One Campus Drive, Newtown, PA
